Pierre Cox, PhD, CSCS
A native of the Washington, DC area, Dr. Cox has developed and implemented educational programs for individuals and organizations since 1990. He holds graduate degrees in Educational Leadership and Communications, and is a spirited advocate for health promotion initiatives and community empowerment.
A dynamic presenter and speaker, Dr. Cox has traveled extensively and lends his expertise to several Washington DC area organizations, serving on advisory boards for Adventist Healthcare and Sanford Brown College. He has served as a volunteer for the Hospital for Sick Children (HSC Pediatric Center) for over 10 years, and holds active professional affiliations with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American Safety and Health Institute.
He is presently serving his third term as Basic Life Support (BLS) Regional Faculty for the American Heart Association, DC/Maryland Jurisdiction, assisting with the development of policy and quality assurance for its network of Training Centers. His hobbies include reading, cycling and travel.
